STAMFORD, Conn. — Design Within Reach (DWR), part of the MillerKnoll collective, is debuting the Paku Paku dining table, its first to combine concrete and glass. Created exclusively for DWR by the New York-based creative studio WeShouldDoItAll, the table draws inspiration from origami’s folds and layers.
The Paku Paku is a “study in dualities,” balancing transparency and density, delicacy and strength, lightness and mass. It features a translucent glass top set atop a concrete base, with a deliberate gap revealing the structural elements that connect the two materials.
The concrete base can be paired with thick tempered glass in three finishes: Smoke, Bronze, or Clear. The table is available in two sizes: a 75-inch version priced at $5,995 and a 95-inch version at $7,995.
WeShouldDoItAll’s design approach, blending architectural complexity with precision craftsmanship, exemplifies DWR’s commitment to shaping the future of modern design.
