CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — IKEA U.S., a leading retailer, unveiled plans for a new customer service point in Florence, Kentucky, on November 12, set to open in the spring of 2026. The new location, strategically positioned near the Florence Mall on Mall Road, will serve the broader Cincinnati area, catering to customers in Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana.
“I’m thrilled to announce the opening of the Florence Plan & Order point next spring,” said Susan Blackstock, IKEA’s market manager. “This space will provide our customers with a convenient way to explore affordable home furnishings, plan their dream spaces, and receive expert design guidance.”

IKEA has long been part of the Cincinnati region, with its flagship store in West Chester opening in 2008. The Florence location will occupy 4,200 square feet at the Florence Square shopping center, offering personalized services tailored to customers’ home furnishing needs.
In addition to opening new service points, IKEA has invested in enhancing its online shopping experience. This includes special benefits for IKEA Family members, more affordable delivery options, improved click-and-collect services, and TaskRabbit assembly assistance.
The Florence Plan & Order point is one of several innovative formats IKEA is rolling out as part of its strategy for U.S. growth. At these locations, customers will have the opportunity to work directly with IKEA experts to plan custom designs for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms, making the brand even more accessible and adaptable to diverse shopping preferences.
