Fusion Designs, a leading manufacturer of Amish-crafted solid wood furniture, is expanding its occasional furniture lineup with three new contemporary collections set to debut at next month’s High Point Market.
The Arden, Hudson, and Jaxon collections are designed to reshape how consumers view Amish furniture, as stated by the company.
Allen Bontrager, the chief operating officer and lead designer behind the new collections, shared that these introductions align with Fusion Designs’ commitment to bringing innovative products to retailers. “Our goal is to remain a product-driven company, ensuring that retailers consistently look to us for fresh, distinct offerings,” he explained.

The Arden collection draws inspiration from architectural forms, with a standout console table featuring an arched design perfect for entryways or placement behind sofas. Arden also includes two coffee table options: a 48-inch version suited for larger spaces and a 32-inch option ideal for smaller rooms such as condos or townhomes.
The Hudson collection focuses on pedestal-style legs, combining visual appeal with practicality. In contrast, the Jaxon collection showcases minimalist silhouettes, offering round and square end tables that emphasize clean lines and contemporary design.
Each collection is crafted from solid wood and available in a variety of wood species. Retailers can select from over 35 hand-wiped finishes and 24 paint options. Suggested retail prices range from $875 to $1,500.
“These new collections represent the direction we’re taking, from bedroom and dining to our recent solid wood barstool designs,” Bontrager noted. “We are modernizing our product offerings to appeal to a new generation of shoppers while staying true to our heritage of craftsmanship.”
Looking ahead, the company announced plans to release new products directly on its website throughout the year, rather than waiting for trade show launches.
“We’re constantly refining prototypes,” Bontrager said. “This direct-to-consumer release approach will revolutionize how customers access our products and how Fusion Designs is perceived.”
Founded in 1995, Fusion Designs manufactures custom-built furniture for bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices, and entertainment areas in its Indiana facility. The company uses locally sourced hardwoods such as oak, maple, cherry, and hickory, and highlights its craftsmanship with features like mortise-and-tenon joinery, soft-close drawers, and hand-applied finishes.
